About this product
The Odyssey Golf Chipper is a new, right-handed chipper with a steel shaft and a 35.5-inch length. It is a single club, part of the Odyssey Chipper model line, and is designed for men. The club features a wedge flex, which is typical for chippers, and comes with a standard grip. This chipper is intended to simplify short-game shots, offering a putter-like stroke with the loft of a wedge. It is a brand-new club, so it has not been used or pre-owned.
Our take
The main trade-off with this chipper is its premium price for a single club. While it is new and from a reputable brand, you are paying a significant amount for a specialized tool. If you are a golfer who frequently struggles with chipping, this club could pay for itself in improved scores and confidence. The 35.5-inch length is a standard chipper length, suitable for most players. The steel shaft offers durability and a solid feel. However, if you are on a budget or only occasionally face chip shots, this might be an overinvestment. The wedge flex is appropriate for the club's purpose, but it is not adjustable. Overall, this is a high-quality chipper for those who want a reliable, new club and are willing to spend for it.
