About this product
The Odyssey BLACKSPIN LOB Wedge is a right-handed lob wedge with a 61° loft, featuring a stainless steel head and a graphite shaft. It includes the Stronomic insert, which is designed to enhance spin. This single wedge is for men and has a blade head shape.
Our take
This lob wedge is a specialized club for shots around the green that require high loft and spin. The 61° loft is extreme, making it suitable for flop shots and bunker play. The Stronomic insert is designed to increase spin, which can help stop the ball quickly. The graphite shaft reduces weight, potentially increasing swing speed. However, the high loft may be difficult for beginners to control, and the blade head requires precision. This wedge is best for skilled players who need a high-loft option, but those with a more moderate game might find it challenging.
